Dungeon Prowler is the cat’s meow

All right, time to let the cat out of the bag–what a terrible idiom–and show off the second brand new comic book I will be debuting this weekend at MICE in Cambridge, Mass. Right, it’s called…

Not to be repetitive, but it’s called Dungeon Prowler. It’s an all-ages comic about a kitty cat called Lurk who accidentally ends up lost inside a cave. Unfortunately for him, that cave turns out to be more dungeon-like than anything else. In the darkness, he befriends a mouse, and together, the two of them will find a way back to the surface. Time is of the essence because, honestly, leftover tuna juice is of the essence back home for Lurk.

Here’s a couple sample pages if you’re curious for more…

Robots Replace Man!

I’ll be exhibiting at MICE this upcoming weekend–look for me around the corner at Table D10, in Doucet Hall–and I have two new comic books debuting at the show. Today, I’ll reveal one of them, which is a sister product to DINOSAURS EAT MAN, a book of short comics on those terrible lizards that I did a few years ago. Allow me to push your “alert” button and show you…

This is another short collection of themed comics, all of them focusing on the metal machines that will probably be controlling us in a matter of years. The jokes range from bad bad to good bad, and your mileage may, of course, vary. I personally think I’m a riot.

Now I can’t give away all the comics in this newly crafted creation of mine, but here’s a couple examples below to whet your whistle. Lastly, if you’re in Massachusetts over the weekend and like all things comics-related, do stop by and see what’s going on at MICE! It’s free and open to the public. You can’t beat that.

New business cards in the house!

In preparation for MICE in a few weeks–I’ll be at table D10 in Doucet Hall, wherever that is!–I’ve whipped up some new, coffee-ladenĀ business cards. No, really. They are heavy on the java tones. See here:

Side note: sorry to all the native Massachusetts-iansĀ out there, as I don’t have the Cambridge “You Are Here” mug and went with the next closest one. I’ll have to remedy this…

As the convention draws closer, I’ll be revealing the two new comic books that will be debuting at MICE. I’m excited. I’m also terribly nervous. That’s the name of the comics game, I guess. Let’s just say I’m terribly nervcited. Either way, stay tuned!
